How many of you remember the actress and Hollywood cinema star, Ann-Margret from her close ties with The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley?  Together they stared in the hit Hollywood movie - Viva Las Vegas.  Ann -Margret is a high spirited individual who enjoys life to the fullest.  One of her favorite passions still today is motorcyles.

Amazingly, here at Happy Days Dream Cars we were able to take ownership of one of the ORIGINAL Triumph motorcycle Hollywood Movie Star, Ann-Margret owned!

About the Bike:

Triumphs were very popular in the 60s and it is easy to see why - this is a great looking bike!  The Triumph motorcycle celebrity status as the "Word's Fastest Motorcyle" was boosted at various times by showbiz appearances.  Stuntman, Evel Knievel used a Bonneville TT Special for his attempt to jump over the fountain at Caesar's Palace casino in Las Vegas in 1988.  Clint Eastwood rode a Bonneville in a chase scene through New York's Central Park in the movie 'Coogan's Bluff'.  Richard Gere co-starred with a 750cc T140E Bonnie in 'An Officer and a Gentleman'.  Other Triump riders in movies are Marlan Brando (The Wild One - a 1950 Thunderbird 6T), Steve McQueen (The Great Escape- a 650cc Triumph Trophy TR6), 'The Fonz' (Happy Days - various Triumphs and other bikes), and Ann-Margret (The Swinger - Tiger T100).  Following the movie debuts Triumph motorcycles were in hot demand, so much that Ann-Margret became the poster model for the Triumph motorcycles offical advertisements in the USA!
