Throughout its 35 year history, the All American Racers (AAR) Cudas have occupied a special niche among the glory days of racing. In 1970, Plymouth recruited Dan Gurney from Santa Anna, California to build a Trans-Am Cuda to compete against Mustangs, Camaros, and Javelins for the Trans American Championships of Manufactures. Today, an important part of that history is available to you here at Happy Days Dream Cars. This numbers matching 1970 Plymouth AAR 340 cubic inch 290HP 6 Pack “J-Code” Cuda was freshly rotisserie restored in 2013 and comes with complete restoration photos. This car is in #1 show condition. Under the bonnet, the factory original, numbers matching, highly detailed 340 cubic inch V8 with 3X2BBL carburetors, rated at 290hp with 10.5:1 compression ratio. The factory built AARs ran 14.4 second quarter miles straight off the assembly line! The AAR Cuda was only produced in 1970 and production ran from March to April. In all, 2,724 AARs were produced, 1,120 were 4 speeds and 1,614 were 3 speed automatics. The car still retains both original fender tags, and radiator core support VIN.  Combined with the famous AAR race history makes this high performance muscle car an excellent investment!
